Rudbeckia hirta

This is a perennial wildflower with yellow daisy like petals on tall stems. The stems are covered in scratchy hairs. It is a great choice for a wildflower garden because of it's ability to self seed. You can also collect the seeds from spent flowers if you want to save them. Cut flowers will last at least a week and make a great addition to arrangements. Attracts deer, rabbit and other wildlife so plant with lavender, rosemary, or other deterrent plants. Plant in moist, well drained soil.
