Psyllidae
Microscopic bugs that are mostly flat and green with fringe of short spines around edge. These are migrating insects from the southern states on storm systems, so they vary from year to year. Feed off tomato and potato plants. Leaf damage and distortion are the first signs. White crystals of waste will also appear. Bugs can transfer to other garden plants, but no damage will be done. Ladybugs are natural predators.
