Varieties: sweet, italian large leaf, lemon.

Suitable soil is well drained and kept somewhat moist.  Needs at least 6 hours of sunlight or under grow light 10-12 hours.  This plant is fast growing and can require frequent re potting.  Start harvesting leaves when plant reaches six inches tall.
