This is a palm like tree that will need plenty of room to grow.  Long dark green leaves on smooth, woody trunk.  It needs consistent bright indirect sunlight.  Keep away from drafts, vents, windows and walls as temperatures can easily transfer and damage the plant.  Allow to dry out between watering; usually 2-4 times a month during the Summer.  Suitable soil is well drained.
