This is a beautiful ornamental shrub with long, narrow, bright burgundy leaves.  In the spring it produces light pink flowers.  Because of it's bright color it makes a great contrast bush in your landscape.  In the fall it will make dark purple edible berries followed by bronze and green leaves.  Plant in moist, well drained, loamy soil.
